Sweetwater & GISP Surveys

Sweetwater Survey - Tuesday June 2nd: 

Don’t forget our upcoming survey at Galveston Bay Foundation’s Sweetwater property, Tuesday June 2nd. This is part of an ongoing survey project scheduled for the first Tuesday of every month - so please mark your calendar. David Bulliner will be the TERN Volunteer leading this activity.

We will meet at the property entrance on 103rd Street in Galveston at 9:00am and finish up around 12:00pm.

GISP Survey - Wednesday June 10th:

We are continuing our monthly surveys at Galveston Island State Park for this month on Wednesday June 10th at 9am to noon! Our champion TERN volunteers are taking the lead to continue this great effort!

We will return to the three spots we have been surveying: the beach with less human activity, the “VIP” freshwater ponds/coastal prairie and everyone’s favorite, the birding tower. Meet at the Beach-Side Park Headquarters at 9:00 am.

We are always looking for new TERN participants. Please pass the word along to others that might be interested. Group survey activities are a great way to get involved. New and experienced birders are always welcomed!
