Bird Nerd Program...
The November Bird Nerd program is on Saturday, November 7th, at 9am, at the Texas City Prairie Preserve. Charli Rohack and Joanie Steinhaus are combining for an amazing presentation on plastic and trash pollution, and how it affects our coastal lines.

Special Monitoring Opportunity...
Finally, several TERN participants are monitoring a roost site off of Egret Bay Blvd and Nasa Parkway, and would like to invite everyone to join them in counting the birds coming in THIS TUESDAY EVENING (October 20th) at 6:30pm. The birds are starting to move on for the winter, so this is a great opportunity to see over 1,000 birds in one location at one time! The site is located on the backside of the office buildings at 1100 E Nasa Pkwy, 77058, right along Clear Creek.
We are always looking for new TERN participants. Please pass the word along to others that might be interested in any of these events/activities. New and experienced birders are always welcomed and no training or certifications are required. For more information please contact the TERN Office.
