I wanted to let you know about our upcoming Bird Nerd Series for December! We are having Dr. George Guillen, Director of the Environmental Institute of Houston and Associate Professor of Biology and Environmental Science speak to us about the Diamondback Terrapin.
Dr. Guillen has been supportive in expanding our citizen science monitoring to Terrapin monitoring. This will be extremely beneficial to the partners and areas that we already survey for birds so we can account for other species that are on the property that may be federally protected or that we just don’t have data on. Come enjoy a wonderful workshop on the Diamondback Terrapin!
