We will be meeting up for bird surveys at the state park this Thursday from 9am to noon. We had a wonderful crowd last time and I hope to see many of you this week. Meet us at the GISP headquarters for a sticker for your car and to meet the group.
Lisa will not be our guide, however Chad will be letting us in the gate near the fresh water ponds and accompany us throughout that survey. He is an excellent birder so we are lucky!
There is a small forecast for rain on Thursday so I will be watching the weather. If I think the chances for rain will keep us from conducting the surveys, I will send an email out to cancel the trip by Wednesday at 5pm or before. I will look at the hourly projected for Thursday the day before to determine that. Just check your emails the night before if you can.
We will proceed unless you hear from me. It will be cold so bundle up!
