Monarchs and Urban Gardens!

Our June Bird Nerd Series will be on the State of the Monarch Butterfly and how Urban Gardens can help bring back the species! This workshop will be presented by Amber Miller of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Amber currently is currently working on initiatives to bring back this species and will be discussing the public outreach and participation opportunities for citizens to get involve by digging in the dirt! She will also address some myths about the native vs tropical species of milkweed and have best management practices for these species in your garden beds!
