Sweetwater Survey
Tuesday May 5th: 

Don’t forget our upcoming survey at Galveston Bay Foundation’s Sweetwater property, Tuesday May 5^th. This is part of an ongoing survey project scheduled for the first AND third Tuesday of every month - so please mark your calendar. David Bulliner will be the TERN Volunteer leading this activity.

We will meet at the property entrance on 103rd Street in Galveston at 9:00am and finish up around 12:00pm.

GISP Survey
Wednesday May 13^th:

We are continuing our monthly surveys at Galveston Island State Park for this month on Wednesday May 13^th at 9am to noon! Our champion TERN volunteers are taking the lead to continue this great effort!

We will return to the three spots we will be surveying: the beach with less human activity, the “VIP” freshwater ponds/coastal prairie and everyone’s favorite, the birding tower. Please notice that we are using a new sign up system to track those who are attending! It’s very simple, follow the link and enter your information.

We are always looking for new TERN participants. Please pass the word along to others that might be interested. Group survey activities are a great way to get involved. New and experienced birders are always welcomed!
