We are so excited to announce the “Save the Date” for our 1 year celebration for the TERN program: August 20th, 2015 from 5:30 to 8pm at the Texas City Prairie Preserve (4702 Hwy 146 North Texas City Texas 77590)
We want to celebrate how far our first year of TERN has brought us! We will be announcing our progress from last year, plans for upcoming year, and honor all those who have contributed to this program. Of course we will have this well-deserved celebration TEXAS STYLE: Grilling burgers and dogs along with pot luck style fixin’s!
We would like everyone who can attend to register through our online form
AND consider bringing a favorite dish : appetizer, cold dish, warm dish, or dessert for all to share!
The Evenings Agenda:
5:30-6:00pm Social Gathering
6:00pm- A Year in TERN presentation and Awards Ceremony (presented by Amanda Hackney, Kari Howard, and friends)
Dinner to follow presentation (burgers, dogs, and pot luck style fixings)
While Audubon staff is not able to provide alcoholic beverages, we do have permission to drink adult beverages here at TCPP for this event! BYOB at this event and if we happen to get beer or wine donated (or hijack a Shiner truck) we will make that announcement later on.
In the meantime, please save the date! Register for this event and plan on sharing in some food, fellowship, and festivities!
NOTE: For those TERN volunteers down the coast who are not able to come to this event, please email me so I can make arrangements to send you a special gift via mail! We hope to expand our resources next year so that we can celebrate this program in the middle and lower coast along with the upper coast! We value your volunteer time and service!
