Texas Colonial Waterbird Society Symposium

On November 18th and 19th, Houston will be home to the Texas Colonial Waterbird Society meeting.  This meeting will be held at the Armand Bayou Nature Center and we need your help!  TCWS would like assistance with the following program components:

Nov 18th-
Registration- 12-1:30 (also help with setup) – 2 people
The Social Hour- 3:30-6:00pm, pick and set up for Social Hour, clean-up – 2 people

Nov 19th-
Room logistics- 8:00- 4:00 (can also do a half day instead of full day), help set up room, assist with loading presentations, setting up food and drinks, keeping beverages iced down, making coffee, working with Jason’s Deli on order – 2 people

As a volunteer, you are welcome to observe the meeting for free both days. Armand Bayou has also offered 2 boat trips and a nature hike on Thursday morning. These excursions will occur during the board meeting slot (Boat Trip 1 8:00-8:45, Boat Trip 2 8:45-9:30, Nature Hike 8:00-9:30), and you will be welcome to join one of these outings as well for free!

If you are able to fill any of these spots, please let us know ASAP!  Please email TERN@audubon.org to sign up.  We will respond to your email with a confirmation.

If you are interested in attending the conference, please email TERN@audubon.org and we will send you the registration form.

Thank you for helping the TCWS and TERN.  We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication!
